Gladys Magazine is a quarterly magazine and online source dedicated to helping busy women of all ages create & inspire change. Our editorial philosophy is one of positive encouragement and motivation. We will offer inspiring articles to enrich our reader's lives and we will contribute what's hip in fashion, beauty, travel and luxury products. It is dedicated to anyone who has been inspired to pursue their dreams by someone they love.

History
Andrea Patrick Forte says what matters now at yet another crossroads in her life is not the resume she has compiled throughout her career but the beliefs she holds. Andrea is just taking the next step on her most remarkable journey she likes to call her Inspiration for Life and the name of it is Gladys Magazine.

Patrick-Forte, whose life has been filled with extraordinary accomplishments, is blessed with strong beliefs. And, like her inspiration and mentor Gladys Patrick, her mother who passed away in 2007, she believes the truth should be told and the voices of the people should be heard and that dreams should be fulfilled.She credits much of her success to the people she has met and the experiences she has had throughout her life.

From a finalist in the Miss America and Miss USA pageants to Hollywood actress to magazine cover model and savvy entrepreneur, Andrea Patrick Forte has proven that having a dream and working hard to achieve it shows that dreams really can come true. Andrea Patrick Forte is not only the CEO of one of the world's most enduring and service oriented modeling agencies, but she embodies everything her models represents. She is one of the only titleholders to capture the crown in both systems being named Miss Pennsylvania-USA and Miss West Virginia America. Andrea has been working in the fashion industry for more than half her life. She is a former Director of Fashion and Beauty of an international magazine and her style has graced the pages of Pittsburgh Magazine as one of Pittsburgh"s 25 Most Beautiful People, People Magazine, Star Magazine to Whirl Magazine and her unique sense of fashion from red carpet events to everyday life has inspired those around her.

In 1998, Andrea married 50’s rock ‘n roll icon Fabian in a beautiful ceremony took that place at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa in southwestern Pennsylvania. Four years later, Andrea was at her husband’s side as he was honored as one of the first artists of his era to be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The couple makes their home just south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5,000 square foot house, designed by Andrea, is situated on over 20 acres.

A graduate of West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia, Andrea supports and contributes to many charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Association, American Heart Association, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, American Breast Cancer Foundation, and Cure Autism Now. Andrea is supporting the American Diabetes Association which is an organization very close to her heart.

Andrea's Dear Andrea modeling advice column grew so popular that she turned this phenomenon into the worldly popular inspirational statement apparel and product line she called, "Once Upon A Dream". Her mother Gladys was still battling her long term fight with diabetes in January of 2007 when Dream was born she knew that Andrea wanted to start this new company to dedicate to her and also to carry on that spirit of "you can do anything in your life attitude" that her mother had instilled in her. In February of 2007, Andrea lost her best friend and through Dream she was able to get through one of the worst years in her life. With the inspiration she had set out to spread, she continued to bring messages of hope, motivation and survival through her writing and with her product line and even if she touched one individual with her teachings and the values of Never Give Up determination, then all was worth it to carry on.

For the person who reads Gladys Magazine, this is where you create your life story. It's where you learn about life celebration's, big and small, hear about inspiring stories and dream of other worlds and indulgent luxuries, if only for a little while.

It's a place filled with infinite possibilities for creativity where dreams can come true. Each issue of Gladys Magazine will help bridge the gap between Dreaming and Doing.

*Update - We have reached one of our goals. In only our third issue, Gladys Magazine went National with our Distribution and in our fourth issue, we secured one of the most successful and popular American Supermodels of all time who has graced over 500 Covers in her career, Kim Alexis! We are very excited about our Holiday Most Inspiring People Issue and hope that you will want to become a part of this growing sensation!
